I began working with Pat in early 2009 after his previous web designer disappeared and took his primary site with her: his hosting account was blank. I used the Wayback Machine to recover the site very quickly (and instituted a backup plan). Over the course of several years his site went through multiple iterations, changing to support mobile device growth and finally to an HTML5 front-end paired with a WordPress blog. In mid-2015, Pat retired and has since shut down his website.
Over the course of several years I revamped, built and managed everything from single-page websites, to eCommerce solutions (1ShoppingCart, ClickBank, Infusionsoft), email marketing programs (Aweber, ConstantContact, MailChimp), secure members-only sites for digital product delivery (before WooCommerce), published several books, and somewhere along the way a website hosting company. I coordinated and managed multi-speaker conferences with hundreds of attendees, music & film festivals, produced and edited multi-camera video shoots, setup a successful publishing imprint, and taught classes on everything from email series creation to WordPress security.
