Adventure Alaska Tours
A decade of Frontpage and Yahoo-builder pages untangled into one WordPress site, with a CDN and email automation, for a family-run tour company.

The story
A family-run tour company operating for 25 years primarily in Alaska—with small tours in far west Texas and Mexico—organically created a website using the Yahoo builder, Frontpage and various WYSIWYG tools over the course of a decade. Natural progression, obsolescence of tools, and scope creep led to dozens of orphaned pages, multiple and inconsistent navigation elements, color schemes and layouts.
I setup WordPress so the client could make future changes, implemented a CDN, and tuned the site for delivery.
In early 2025 the couple faced health challenges and decided to close the business.
